Jeff Worth President and CEO

Founder and CEO of Blue Star, Mr. Worth is a dynamic thinker, innovator and leading force behind the company’s fresh approach to the industrial marketplace. His accomplished executive history includes a track record of guiding organizations toward efficient business alignment and unprecedented growth in very competitive environments. He brings a seasoned leadership style that combines team-building, forward thinking and creativity to produce outstanding customer-focused results.

Prior to founding Blue Star, Mr. Worth built a distinguished career at Castrol Industrial over a 22 year period. He developed a strong reputation for optimizing performance within multiple divisions and across all functional disciplines. Mr. Worth is thoroughly grounded in leading edge approaches to business strategies, acquisitions, integration, growth initiatives and financial management. His value-intensive approach to uniquely meeting customer needs is at the very core of the Blue Star organization.

A Hotchkiss Scholar Award recipient, Mr. Worth graduated with honors from the MBA program at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. He also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Colorado.

Tim Davis Vice President—Sales & Marketing

Mr. Davis is highly accomplished executive with 20+ years of sales, management, and marketing experience in the industrial and specialty chemicals industry.  As a strong strategic thinker, he coordinates the development and implementation of Blue Star’s marketing and business plans.   Through excellent communication skills and a collaborative leadership style he fosters an entrepreneurial culture within Blue Star.

Mr. Davis persistently explores distinctive approaches to build compelling solutions for our customers.  While keeping a pulse on product technology and leading the field personnel of the organization, Mr. Davis also drives innovation through strategic alliances with external partners to create break-through ideas that lead to competitive advantages for our customers.  Recognizing the importance of relationships, he always brings a customer-centric approach to the business.

Mr. Davis is a graduate of Bradley University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.  He also earned an MBA from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

John Kurosky Vice President—Technology & Quality

Mr. Kurosky is a hands-on problem solver and an inventive technical executive with 20+ years of experience managing the design and development of lubricating oils and greases. He is responsible for developing Blue Star’s line of lubricants and greases as well as managing all aspects of quality.

Mr. Kurosky’s experience includes positions with lubricant marketers and wholesale manufacturers. He has successfully developed innovative technology for a broad range of lubricant applications within industries such as steel, textile marine, engineered wood, food machinery, and mining. Mr. Kurosky’s excellent research related to grease compatibility and lubricant formulation has been published in professional journals. He brings a customer-focused approach to his work and always aims to build technology that surpasses industry standards for high performance lubricants.

Mr. Kurosky attended Washington State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry.

Andrea Kasiewicz Vice President - Administration

Ms. Kasiewicz is a highly-driven professional with the talent and background that are perfectly suited for her role at Blue Star. She has a comprehensive area of responsibility that includes all customer service related functions, office operations and coordination of HR and IT support.

Backed by 20+ years in the lubricant and metalworking industry, Ms. Kasiewicz brings a wide range of knowledge and practical experience. As a very successful sale professional over a nine year period, she adeptly handled both direct and indirect sales channels within a very competitive territory. She also successfully served in management roles across various customer service and sales support functions. Her technical knowledge of the product line coupled with strong organizational skill makes Ms. Kasiewicz a highly valued resource for our customers and field sales force.

Ms. Kasiewicz is a graduate of Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a Major in Accounting.

Pam Lazarich Technical Support Manager

Ms. Lazarich plays a vital role in supporting Blue Star’s field staff and the applications we serve for our customers. Her responsibilities include coordination of all technical support efforts, creation of product data sheets, management of analytical services and compilation and interpretation of product performance data.

Backed by 20+ years of experience in the metalworking and lubrication industry, Ms. Lazarich skillfully collaborates with customers on technical issues. She brings a strong background in technical leadership roles along with microbiology expertise. When called upon for support, she effectively combines her knowledge of chemistry and problem-solving discipline with a strong sense of practical know-how. Because of her proven proficiency, Ms. Lazarich is a key contributor to charting new product development. She also is an excellent trainer on the technical applications of our products.

Ms. Lazarich earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Loyola University Chicago.
