BLUE STAR® CLY 5630/68 high temperature chain lubricant is recommended for lubrication of roller chains, pin chains, tenter frames, kiln car bearings/rollers, bakery and paint drying line oven chains operating at elevated temperature (180-260°C). The unique design of this high temperature chain lubricant produces a protective lubricating oil film in the chain pins and rollers through capillary action and affinity of these fluids to metallic surfaces.
BLUE STAR® CLY 5630 high temperature chain lubricant is recommended for lubrication of oven chains operating at elevated temperature (> 220°C). Applications for this product are commonly found in industries such as textile, paper carton, plastic processing and fiberglass insulation manufacturing. BLUE STAR® CLY 5640/100 synthetic high temperature lubricant is recommended for the lubrication of conveyor chains operating in ovens for baking, drying and curing that operate at elevated temperatures. This lubricant is fortified with a colloidal suspension of molybdenum disulfide for additional protection in shock loading and start-stop operations.
BLUE STAR® GO 8220/460 Synthetic Multi-Purpose Enclosed Gear Lubricant is recommended for worm and industrial enclosed gearing as well as plain, roller and anti-friction bearings where a circulating lubricant is required. This lubricant is particularly useful in applications with operating environments that experience low and elevated temperatures. BLUE STAR® GO 8220/460 utilizes components that resist oxidation, shearing and emulsification with water.
BLUE STAR® GP 8350 series AW/EP Enclosed Gear Lubricants are recommended for heavily loaded gearboxes with surface-hardened tooth metallurgies that may be subject to pitting and micro-pitting fatigue. Applications that benefit most from GP 8350 lubricants are enclosed steel-on-steel bevel, helical and bevel gears operating in climates where low temperatures are encountered.
Star Clean1150 is a medium to heavy-duty, low foam, general purpose floor cleaner that effectively removes soils on all types of surfaces. Star Clean1150 is formulated to operate in floor scrubbing machines or can be utilized in manual cleaning operations. Star Clean1150 can also be applied as a general purpose cleaner with its oil dispersing properties and pleasant citrus scent that is acceptable to operators.
BLUE STAR® OGP 8910 series high viscosity open gear lubricants are recommended for moderate to heavily loaded open gears, bushings and slow moving bearings operating in rotating mills, kilns, crushers and pulverizing equipment. This product is designed to slump and provide lubricant distribution across areas of load for enclosed and partially enclosed systems. Due to the slumping characteristics of this product these lubricants will flow and flush away contaminants from gear and pinion flanks.
BLUE STAR® OGP 8920/680 Open Gear Lubricant is recommended for open gears, gear drives, bushings, racks, rails, rollers, dipper handles and bearings that operate under moderate to low loads. This product is designed to operate and dispense at low temperatures and maintain a lubricating film when ambient temperatures rise.
BLUE STAR® OGP 8950 Open Gear Lubricants are recommended for heavily loaded open gears, bushings, racks, rails, rollers, dipper handles and propel mechanism components on shovels or draglines. These products are designed to operate and dispense at low temperatures and maintain load carrying capability when ambient temperatures rise.
Star Clean 1800 is a highly alkaline water-based cleaner designed for use as a metal rust remover and carbon cleaner. This product is safe to use on ferrous metals. Upon use, Star Clean 1800 will not generate corrosive fumes which will create a safer work environment.
